Zamzows Brand Products
Zamzows proprietary products were born from the collective knowledge and experience of a family living in Idaho since 1933. By formulating, and producing our own line of lawn care and pet products, we can proudly ensure high quality solutions for our neighbors in the Treasure Valley area of Idaho.
Building a Healthier Soil
A lasting green lawn starts with healthy soil. Idaho soils are mostly clay and lack organic matter, which makes nutrient absorption difficult. Zamzows Huma Green improves your soil by adding vital organic material, enhancing drainage, and making nutrients more available. For a greener lawn that stands up to stress, start from the ground up.
When to Start Seeds Indoors/Outdoors
Seed starting is a very rewarding addition to the backyard gardeners skill set. Buying available plants is a great convenience. But sometimes there are varieties that are hard to find.

The Guide for Chicken Care
Raising healthy chicks starts with proper preparation and daily care. Before chicks arrive, set up a safe brooder with proper heat (starting at 95°F), ventilation, and about 2 sq. ft. per chick using pine shavings bedding. Provide clean water in a chick waterer, never open bowls, and feed chick starter feed only (never layer feed). Monitor chicks daily for health issues like lethargy or “pasting up,” keep bedding and waterers clean, and adjust heat based on chick behavior.
